MANDANE STANTON HOCHMAN

  Mrs. Mandane Stanton Hochman, aged 74 years, died at her home Monday night, 
September 5th, after an illness of five years.  Mrs. Hochman, daughter of the 
late Thomas J. and Louisa Stanton, was born at Bittinger, Garrett County, Md.  
She married Lewis Hochman and came to live near Grantsville where she became 
well known and was highly respected.  Those who survive are her husband, a 
daughter, Miss Cora, at home; two sons, Dr. E. E. Hochman, of Baltimore, and 
Noah Hochman, of Somerfield, Pa.; two sisters, Miss Jennie Stanton, Grantsville, 
and Mrs. Anabel Resh, Accident, and two brothers, Thomas and Gustavus Stanton, 
Bittinger.  Funeral services were held at her late home on Thursday morning, 
September 8th, with Rev. S. D. Sigler in charge.  Interment in the Grantsville 
cemetery.
