  HOCKENSMITH
  
      Mrs. Meta E. Hockensmith, 91, Boswell RD 3, died Feb. 4, 1987, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born June 21, 1895, in Johnstown, daughter of
  William and Bertha (Roland) Pfefferkorn.  Preceded in death by  parents;
  sister, Alma Robertson; and a grandson, Kenneth C. Airsman.  Survived by
  husband, O.C.; two daughters; Gwyanetha, wife of Elvin C.  Friedline,
  Boswell RD 3; and Vivian, widow of Carl E. Airsman, Boswell RD 2; also a
  grandson, Dale Airsman, married to the former Lynora Magner, Somerset RD 3;
  and several nieces and nephews.  Member of Horner Lutheran Church. Observed
  73rd wedding anniversary Oct. 22, 1986.  Former member of Jenner Grange.
  Friends receive from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday
  with the Rev. Richard A. Schlak.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
