  HOCKENSMITH
  
      O. Clyde Hockensmith, 95, Boswell RD 3, died Nov. 23, 1988, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born May 18, 1893, in Fulton County, son of Caleb and
  EmilY (Deshong) Hockensmith.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, former
  Meta E. Pfefferkorn, died Feb. 4, 1987; grandson, Kenneth C. Airsman; and
  nine brothers and sister.  Survived by daughters: Gwyanetha, wife of Elvin
  C.  Friedline, Boswell RD 3; and Vivian, widow of Carl E. Airsman, Boswell
  RD 2; a grandson, Dale Airsman, married to the former Lynora Magner,
  Somerset RD 3; also several nieces and nephews.  Member of Horner Lutheran
  Church. Retired Jenner Township farmer and last surviving member of
  immediate family.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 2
  p.m. Saturday, Pastors Pat and Chris Ramsey officiating.  Interment, Jenner
  Crossroads Cemetery.
