MARY G. HOCKING

  Miss Mary G. Hocking died at her home, 102 Meyers Avenue, Meyersdale, at 3:45 
Tuesday afternoon, May 28, at the age of 85 years, four months and one day.
  She was born in Frostburg, Md., Jan. 26, 1861, a daughter of John T. and Sally 
Taylor (Oates) Hocking, natives of England.
  She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Sarah T. Hoffman, Meyersdale, and several 
nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services were held this (Thursday) morning at 10:30 o'clock, in the 
Price Funeral Home, with Rev. S. C. Keiser officiating.  Interment was made in 
Union Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price & Son.
