  Alice M. Hoffman, 85, Somerset, died Sept. 19, 2005, at Somerset Hospital. Born
  March 17, 1920, in Somerset Township, she is a daughter of Harry Luther and
  Jennie Leora Barron. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Paul G. Hoffman,
  who died in 1985; brothers, Leroy, Elwood, Park and Alfred; and sisters, Ferne,
  Leora, Ann Wisnouse and Pearl Lintner. Survived by children, Mrs. Glenn (Jennie
  Lee) Townsend, Berlin; Larry P. (Jennie M. Lavan), Lebo, Kan.; Mrs. Neal
  (Nancy) Meyers, Dunnellon, Fla.; Timothy B., Somerset; Mrs. Barry (Mary
  Catherine) Autrey, Waverly, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;
  and sister, Mary Belle Hodges, Waverly, Kan. A 1938 graduate of Somerset High
  School. Member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and its former church Mission
  Society, Sunday school class and Somerset Homemakers. Friends received 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. A service will be
  conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. The Rev. Elisa A.
  Osman officiating. Interment, Lavansville Lutheran Cemetery. Contributions may
  be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 3093 Glades Pike, Somerset, PA 15501.
