    Anna Ruth Hoffman, 82, Somerset RD 3, died March 6, 1996, at Somerset
  Patriot Manor.  Born June 13, 1913, in Lincoln Township, daughter of George
  Grant and Anna Rebecca (Beam) Swank.  Preceded in death by parents; 
  husband, Clark Wilson Hoffman, who died March 29, 1988; daughter, Marion
  Beistel, and grandson, Jeffrey Hoffman; sister, Mary E. Flick; brothers,
  Harry, Paul and Charles Swank.  Survived by children: Mrs. Clair (Mae Jean)
  Coley, Chardon, Ohio; George W. Hoffman, married to the former Shirley
  Nicklow, Somerset RD 3; Clark J. Hoffman Jr., married to the former Carol
  Whipkey, Meadville; William R. Hoffman, married to the former Monnia Lea
  Charlesworth, Sipeville; Mrs. Ray (Judy) Klein, Monroeville; Mrs. Joan
  Miller, Palm Coast, Fla., and Miss Cheryl Shaulis, Pittsburgh.  Also 14
  grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Member of St. John's Methodist
  Church, Edie.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday
  in the St. John's United Methodist Church, Edie, with the Rev. Barry K.
  Ritenour officiating.  Interment, Sipesville Cemetery.  Viewing at the church
  from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Contributions may be made to St. John's
  United Methodist Church in care of Patricia Fox, RD 3, Box 128, Somerset,
  Pa. 15501.
