    Barbara Jean Hoffman, 63, Somerset, died Aug. 25, 2000 at her residence.
  Born April 29, 1937 in Castle Shannon. Daughter of Elmer and Cecilia
  (Pitchock) Ritson.  Preceded in death by father and brother Larry Ritson.
  Survived by: husband Edward R.J. Hoffman; mother, Cecilia Ritson-Wiley of
  Pittsburgh; children, William Nist, Somerset, Joseph Nist, Berlin, Mrs.
  Michael (Lisa) Hillegas of Manns Choice, Mark Nist of Somerset and Dean
  Nist of Somerset: step-children, Ricky J. Hoffman of Masontown, Thomas
  Hoffman, Masontown, Michael Hoffman of West Palm Beach, Fla., and James
  Hoffman, Masontown, and nine grandchildren.  Sister of James Ritson,
  Pittsburgh; Mrs. George (Geraldine) Cummins, Wexford; Mrs. Ilene Clokey,
  Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Glenn (Diana) Kauffman of Pittsburgh.  Member of Faith
  Lutheran Church.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Viewing from 10 a.m. until time of service at
  11 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Somerset, Rev. Kenneth M. Diable
  officiating.  Interment, Willis Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Faith
  Lutheran Church 6567 Glades Pike, Somerset, Pa. 15501.
