  CARL G. HOFFMAN
     
    Carl G. Hoffman, 67, of Alum Bank, died April 16, 1975, at his home.  Born
  March 7, 1908, in Johnstown, he was a son of Carl and Bertha (Luft)
  Hoffman.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Albert
  Albus. 
     Surviving are his wife, the former Leora Fike of Meyersdale; a son, Van,
  married to the former Shirley Kimmell; and a daughter, Sally, wife of
  Donald Parkins, both of Johnstown; also five grandchildren. 
     He was a retired founder of Fi-Hoff Concrete Products, Inc. 
     Funeral service was held Saturday morning in R. Owen Ketterer Funeral
  Home on Geistown, with the Rev. Robert Marshall officiating.  Interment in
  Richland Cemetery.
