Hoffman, 82, Boswell RD 2, formerly of Davidsville, died Oct. 12, 1983, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Dec. 1, 1900, in Jennerstown, son of Park and Clara (Keller) Hoffman. Preceded in death by parents; five brothers: Henry, Walter, Wilbert, Ernest, and Robert; also sister, Ada Baker. Survived by widow, the former Kathryn (Katie) Kaufman; and sister, Elsie Saylor, Berlin. Member of Jennerstown United Methodist Church. Would have celebrated 60th wedding anniversary June 17, 1984. Retired mechanic for Leigenberger's Johnstown. Army veteran of World War II. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and until 11 a.m. Saturday, at Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, when body will be removed to the Jennerstown United Methodist Church to lie in state from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. with the Rev.
