  HOFFMAN
  
  Ezra Gilbert Hoffman, 92, of Somerset died May 7 in the Berlin Home for the
  Aged.  He was born March 5, 1882 in Brothersvalley Township, son of the late
  John A. and Rebecca Hauger Hoffman.  He was preceded in death by his wife,
  the former Elizabeth Saylor; a daughter; three sisters and three
  brothers.  Survived by these children: Col. John S. of Deale, Md.; Lewis W.
  of West Palm Beach, Fla.; Mrs. Edward ( Angeline) Hetzer of Somerset; Fred
  S. of Crofton, Md.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  He
  was a brother of Mrs. Annie Lehman of Brotherton; Mrs. Lottie Sipe of
  Johnstown and Mrs. Earl (Bessie) Walters of Farrelton.  Friends will be
  received after 2 p.m. today at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where
  services will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles L.
  Rummel officiating.  Interment, Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
