  HOFFMAN
  
  Floyd S. Hoffman, 56, Berlin RD 4, died Feb. 9, 1976, in Somerset Community
  Hospital.  He was born Nov. 23, 1920, in Brothersvalley Township, a son of
  the late Clayton J. and Myrtle (Sevits) Hoffman.  Survived by his wife the
  former Edith Lease, a daughter Mrs. James (Jane) Scurfield, Berlin; John
  L., at home; and three grandchildren.  Also survived by three sisters, Mrs.
  Clyde Olive Hoffman, Latrobe; Mrs. Donald Ruth Heffley, Berlin; and Mrs.
  Flemming Nora Casebeer, Somerset.  He was a member of the Brothersvalley
  Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received in the Johnson and Son
  Funeral Home, Berlin after 7 p.m. today Tuesday where services will be held
  Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Owen Preston officiating.  Interment,
  Pike Cemetery, Brotherton.
