  HOFFMAN
  
  Harold R. Hoffman Sr., 68, of Berlin, died Dec. 8, 2002 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Sept. 1, 1934 in Berlin, the son of Harrison and Edna
  (Saylor) Hoffman.  Preceded in death by parents, infant twins, son Harold
  Jr., daughter Theresa Hoffman Weigle, four brothers and one sister. 
  Survived by his wife of 44 years, Joan (Hutchinson) Hoffman; children,
  Vickie, Berlin, Anthony, married to the former Lori Deeter, Berlin, and
  Scott, married to the former Jennifer Oakes, San Antonio, Texas; 12
  grandchildren; loyal companion "Jasmine"; brothers, George, Berlin, Karl,
  Florida, Wayne, New Jersey and a sister, Phyllis Leister, Glencoe.  He was
  a retired coal miner, graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School class
  of 1954 and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.  Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin.  A vigil for the deceased will be held Tuesday night.  A Funeral
  Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gregory's Catholic Church,
  Macdonaldton.  Rev. James M. Dugan, officiating.  Interment, Sts. Philip
  and James Catholic Cemetery, Meyersdale.  In lieu of flowers, contributions
  may be sent to the family, c/o First National Bank, 536 Main St., Berlin,
  Pa., 15530.
