  HARRISON H. HOFFMAN
  
    Harrison H. Hoffman, 78, Berlin, died May 23.  Born in Somerset, April
  23, 1889, he was a son of the late Conrad and Elizabeth (Brant) Hoffman. 
  He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Edna Mae Saylor, four
  sisters and a brother.
    Surviving are these children: Emerson, Akron, Ohio; Jay, Bridgeview,
  Ill.; Mrs. Bernice Holt, Garrett; Mrs. Phyllis Leister, Fairhope; Rev.
  Robert L., Meyersdale; Donald, Conway, Pa.; Carl, Grand Rapids, Mich.;
  Wayne, Chicago; Harold, Meyersdale RD, and George, Berlin RD; also 40
  grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He was a brother of Jacob, of
  Evansdale, Iowa.
    He was a retired farmer, member of Salem Church of the Brethren and a
  veteran of World War I.
    Friends are being received at Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, where
  service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, with Rev. Herald V. Seese officiating. 
  Interment was made in the Pike cemetery.
