  JAY H. HOFFMAN
  
    Jay H. Hoffman, 74, of Rochester, Pa., died Aug. 2, 1996.  Son of the
  late Harrison and Edna Mae (Saylor) Hoffman.  Also preceded in death by
  brothers, Emerson and Donald.  Survived by one son, Dennis of Hickory
  Hills, Ill., and sisters: Bernice Holt of Garrett; Phyllis Leister of
  Fairhope; brothers, Rev. Robert L., George and Harold, all of Berlin;
  Wayne, Trenton, N.J.; and Carl, Lakeland, Fla.  He served in the U.S. Army
  in World War II and was employed by R.R. Donnelly, printers, in Chicago,
  Ill.  Memorial services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
