Curtis St., Simpsonville, S.C., husband of Anna (Dutton) Hoffman, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1986, after and extended illness. Born in Somerset, the son of Kenneth Hoffman of Somerset and Sylvia (Heining) George of Simpsonville. He was a member of the East Georgia Road Baptist Church and a ceramic technician with Arco Chemical Company. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his stepmother, Vera Mae Hoffman of Somerset; two sons: John Hoffman, Jr. of Phillipsburg N.J., and Chuck Kersey, at home; two daughters: Lisa Hoffman of Phillipsburg, N.J., and Heidi Adams of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers: Kenneth Hoffman Jr., Ronald Hoffman and Fred Hoffman, all of Simpsonville, S.C.; two sisters: Patricia Haughwout of Simpsonville and Peggy Miller of Somerset. Funeral services Thursday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. at East Georgia Road Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ray Robinson and the Rev. Ron Culbertson. Burial in Graceland East Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of a brother, Ken Hoffman, 103 Brierwood Lane, Simpsonville, and will receive friends Wednesday, 7-8:30 p.m. at Cannon Funeral Home, Fountain Inn, S.C. Memorials may be made to Greenville County Cancer Society. HOFFMAN John Allen Hoffman, 30, of Simpsonville, S.C., who died Nov. 11, 1986, is also survived by three step-brothers: Jack Evans, York; Ronald and Randy Evans, both of Somerset; and two step-sisters: Connie Sanner and Barbara Barclay, both of Somerset.
