   Kathleen Hoffman, 83, Friedens, passed on Feb. 4, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born April
  20, 1923, in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Harry J. and Ethel B. (Fitzharris)
  Russell. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Jack W. Hoffman; brother,
  James H. Russell; and sisters, Mary L. Harris, Helen G. Thomas, and Rose Poad. Survived by
  her children, Thomas A. Hoffman, Weston, Ohio, Harry J. Hoffman, Bowling Green, Ohio, and
  Rose A. Witosky, Somerset; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She worked as
  an aide at the Church of the Brethren Home and Somerset Hospital for many years and was a
  member of the Missionary Alliance Church of Gray. A memorial service will be held at 1:30
  p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. The Rev. Joseph Gray, officiating.
  Interment at St. John's Cemetery, Somerset. Memorial contributions may be made to the
  American Heart Association.
