  MILDRED C. HOFFMAN
  
    Mildred C. Hoffman, 80, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., died October 14, 1983, in
  Fountain Valley, Calif.
    She was born Oct. 21, 1902, in Elk Lick Township, and was a daughter of
  the late Demetrius Compton and Fannie (Stotler) Compton.  She was preceded
  in death by her husband, Carl Hoffman, last May.
    She was a member of St. Paul Wilhelm United Church of Christ, Salisbury.
    Surviving are two sons, Richard W. Hoffman, Fountain Valley, and Carl C.
  Hoffman, Cape Girardeau, and five grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the St. Paul Wilhelm Church where services were
  conducted by the Rev. Carl Mitchell.  Interment was in the parish cemetery.
    Thomas Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
