  HOFFMAN
  
  Mrs. Minnie Catherine Hoffman, 99, of Somerset RD 3, died in her residence
  on Aug. 12, 1976.  She was born Aug. 12, 1877, in Kingwood.  She was the
  daughter of the late Alexander and Ann (Snyder) Faidley.  Preceded in death
  by her husband, Edward A., four daughters and one brother.  She is survived
  by these children: Mrs. Reinhold (Carrie) Malas, and Mrs. Roy (Lucy)
  Sheeler, both of Somerset RD 3; a foster son, Richard Emert of Cleveland,
  Ohio; also 22 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 25
  great-great-grandchildren.  She was a member of Somerset Church of the
  Brethren.  Friends received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home after 7
  p.m. Friday.  Funeral services Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Paul White
  officiating.  Interment, Sipesville Cemetery.
