  HOKE
  
  Samuel Erle Hoke Jr., 56, Meyersdale, was pronounced dead on arrival at
  Somerset Community Hospital June 30, 1983.  Born May 13, 1927, in
  Meyersdale, a son of Althea (Shockey) Hoke of Meyersdale and the late Dr.
  Samuel E. Hoke.  Survived by a son, Samuel E. Hoke III, Virginia Beach,
  Va.  A brother of Mrs. Mary Estelle Brant, Meyersdale.  He was an uncle of
  Michael A., Christopher J., and Kimberly A. Bengivengo.  He was a staff
  member of Somerford Acres and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church,
  Meyersdale, American Legion Post 112, Laurel Falls Association, and a
  veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m.
  Friday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev.
  Lloyd Wilson.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
