  HOLDER
  
  John I. Holder, 81, of Stoystown RD 1, died Aug. 31, 1972, at home.  Born
  on Jan. 9, 1891, in Jenner Township, a son of Isaac and Creldia (Lohr)
  Holder.  Preceded in death by one infant son, four brothers: William,
  Edward, Lester and Elmer, and two sisters, Miss Della and Mrs. Ruth Mays. 
  Survived by three sons: M. Valgene, married to Pauline O'Connor, Church
  Hill Valley, Pittsburgh; Donald G., married to Sarah Jean Shaffer,
  Stoystown RD 1; Dean F., married to Iona Weimer, Johnstown RD 3; six
  grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.  Was a retired employee of
  Consolidated Coal Company, Jenners and Gray, having worked in the car
  shop.  Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ and UMW of A., Local
  6456, Gray.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday (today)
  at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where services
  will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Jeffrey Kispler and the Rev. 
  Richard Smith officiating.  Interment, Jennerstown United Church of Christ Cemetery.
