  Sarah Jean (Shaffer) Holder, 75, of Berlin, formerly of Stoystown RD,
  died July 1, 2001 at Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin.  Born May 9,
  1926 in Boswell.  Daughter of Charles G. and Maude G. (Miller)
  Shaffer.  Preceded in death by parents, husband of 54 years Donald
  G., Nov. 24, 2000, infant twin brothers, and brothers Fred, Russell
  and Samuel.  Survived by sons Donald Paul Holder Sr., married to
  Camille (Tinpanaro), Chicago, Ill., and David E. Holder, married to
  Kathy Yates, Stoystown RD; grandchildren Jason, Jennifer, Donald Jr.,
  Dawn and Patrick; three great-grandchildren and mother-in-law Viola
  (Friedline) Holder, Somerset.  A 1944 graduate of the former Boswell
  High School and also received LPN training at the former Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Retired employee of Somerset Hospital and also a
  former private duty nurse.  Past president of Somerset Community
  Hospital School of Nursing.  Member of Laurel Mountain Grace Brethren
  Church, Jennerstown.  Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell where service will be
  held 11 a.m. Friday.  The Rev. Michael Govey officiating.  Interment,
  United Church of Christ Cemetery, Jennerstown.
