Holderbaum, 95, of Arbutus Park Manor, Johnstown, formerly of Somerset, died April 19, 1981, at the manor. Born July 2, 1885, in Somerset, daughter of James B. and Annie (Jones) Holderbaum. Preceded in death by parents, three sisters and two brothers. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Somerset, since 1898. She was a life member of Trinity Chapter 138 Order of Eastern Star; a member of Forbes Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution; a life member of the Historical Society of Somerset County; and a member of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania; the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania; the Huguenot Society of Pennsylvania; and the Fortnightly Club. She was a president of Ankney Square Cemetery for 45 years and a member of the Music Club. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Harry C. Sherry officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery. Memorial service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home by members of Trinity Chapter 138 Order of Eastern Star. Daily American, April 20, 1981 [H1343]
