Holiday, 70, of Confluence, died June 18, 1983, in the Veterans Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born July 5, 1913, in Addison Township, a son of Samuel and Margaret (Gillenberger) Hollada. He is survived by his wife, the former Thelma Growall, and these children: Harry L., of Easton, Md.; Paul M., of Madison, Wis.; Robert J., of Beaver Falls; Freda Frantz, of Hagerstown, Md.; Ruth Hampe, of Somerset; and Gerald, of Acosta. Also 26 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Lester Hollada, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Wilma Bailey, of Confluence; and Herbert Hollada, of Chambersburg. He was preceded in death by first wife, Grace Pletcher. Friends were received in the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services were held with the Rev. Terrell Groninger officiating. Interment, Silbaugh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to favorite charity. The Republic, June 23, 1983 [H1348]
