  HOLLAN
  
  Andy Hollan, 83, of Stoystown RD 2 (Wilbur), died Aug. 2, 1985, at Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Sept. 8, 1901, in Czechoslovakia, son of the late
  Michale and Ann Hollan.  Also preceded in death by daughter, Veronica
  Weaver, and two sisters.  Survived by his wife, the former Mary Soltis,
  whom he married July 18, 1932; and these children: Mrs. William (Anna Jean)
  Pakstis of Philadelphia; Joseph, married to Gloria Shaver, Hooversville;
  John, married to Loraine McVicker, Stoystown; Andrew, married to Mary
  Francis Kaltenbaugh, Johnstown RD 7; nine grandchildren, one great-grandson
  and brother, John.  Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville;
  retired coal miner and member of UMW of A., Local 1023, Cairnbrook.  Family
  will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
  Monday.  Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Church
  with the Rev. Harold N. Biller officiating.  Interment, Otterbein Cemetery,
  Wilbur.
