    Mary E. Hollan, 88, Wilbur, Stoystown RD 2, died Feb. 28, 1994, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Jan. 1, 1906, in Jerome, daughter of Joseph and
  Anna Soltis.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Andy; daughter,
  Veronica Weaver; brothers: Andrew and Joseph.  Survived by these children:
  Anna Jean, married to William Pakstis, Bedford RD 1; Joseph A., married to
  the former Gloria Shaver, Hooversville; John R., married to the former
  Lorraine McVicker, Stoystown, and Andrew M., married to the former Mary
  Frances Kaltenbaugh, Johnstown; nine grandchildren and four
  great-grandsons.  Sister of Ann Gentry, Rock Springs, Texas.  Family will
  receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where wake service will be held
  at 3 p.m. Thursday.  She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church,
  Hooversville, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m.
  Friday, with the Rev. Harold N. Biller officiating.  Interment, Otterbein
  Cemetery.
