Holler, 71, Boynton, died at his home Feb. 19. Born Dec. 20, 1895, in Boynton, he was a son of the late Ross and Augusta (May) Holler. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth W. Diehl Holler. Surviving are his second wife, Grace Baer Diehl; two sons; William A. Holler, Somerville, N.J.; James Robert, West Salisbury; two daughters, Mrs. Jane C. Cochrane, Boynton, and Mrs. Doris Mae Lowery, Carlisle, and these children at home, Peggy, Barry and Dwight. He was a brother of James A. Holler and Mrs. Leona Bolin, Wedderberg, Ore.; Hiram of California; Mrs. Alice Corley, Akron, Ohio; and Mrs. Annie Barker, Johnstown. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Earl H. Opel Post, American Legion, Salisbury; Salisbury VFW and the Minnequa Club of Shippensburg. Funeral service was held in the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 22, with Rev. William A. Cassidy officiating. Interment was made in Salisbury IOOF cemetery, with the combined service organizations conducting graveside service. Meyersdale Republican, February 23, 1967 [H1373]
