Holler, 48, Boynton, died Friday in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, from injuries sustained in a fall from a bridge under construction. Born Sept. 17, 1918, in Boynton, he was a son of Archie and Margaret (Wellington) Holler. Surviving are his mother; his wife, the former Grace Pyle; and a son, James E., now serving with the U.S. Army in Viet Nam. He was a brother of Kenneth, Salisbury; Jack and Mrs. Beatrice Ferraro, Boynton; Albert, Millerstown; and Mrs. Mary Baer, Turtle Creek. Belonging to St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury, he was also a member of its consistory. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of Salisbury American Legion and VFW, the Elk Lick Rod and Gun Club, Meyersdale Lodge 554 F and AM, and Local 526 Cement Finishers Union. Funeral service was held on Tuesday afternoon in St. John's United Church of Christ, with Rev. Richard H. Harder officiating. Interment was made in Salisbury IOOF cemetery, under direction of Thomas Funeral Home. Meyersdale Republican, December 1, 1966 [H1377]
