Born Sept. 24, 1912 in Addison Township, son of the late Albert and Jennette (Camp) Holliday. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Wilma (Colflesh) Holliday, an infant grandson, two great-grandchildren, brothers Edgar, Sylvester, Frederick, James Herbert and sisters Evelyn Pyle and Viola Blocher. Survived by daughters, Madeline Nicholson, Listonburg, and Shirley Nicholson, Fort Hill; son Dale, Fort Hill; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren; brothers Delbert, Fort Hill, and Victor, Grantsville, Md.; sisters Irene Hussey, Orange County, Calif., and Dorothy Sausman, Confluence. A member of the Silbaugh United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Dane Cramer officiating. Interment in Silbaugh Cemetery. 01/05/2004
