He is the son of Arthur "Jack" and Elsie (McClintock) Holliday. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Hilda and brother Noman. He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila, of 45 years; son Mark and wife Jane; daughter Lorie and husband Keith; six grandchildren, Dakota, Chayton, McKenna, Alexandria, Austin and Adam. Also brothers, Larry and Randy; and sister, Shirley. Also so many friends and family. Doc was a devoted family man. He was a retired major in the U.S. Army. He served his country with pride for 20 years. He was a Past Master of Tampa Bay Lodge in Safety Harbor, Fla. He was a football coach all his life. Doc didn't know a stranger. Everyone was someone special, a friend. He will be forever missed and loved. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday at Silbaugh United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in "Doc's" memory to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
