Mr. Holliday lived most of his life in the vicinity of Maple Glen; and always worked in the woods when he was able. He was an inmate of the County Home for the last few years. He died on his 79th birthday. He was born on June 11, 1866, son of Andrew Jackson and Mary Ann (McClintock) Holliday. On October 12, 1884, he was married to Margaret Christner, who died in 1920. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Florence Lane, of Miami, Fla., and by five sons: Howard, of Maple Glen; Earl and Calvin of Baltimore, Arthur and George L. of Meyersdale. Funeral services were conducted in the Springs Mennonite Church on Wednesday, June 13, at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Roy Otto officiating. Interment in the Upper Springs cemetery, in charge of Stanley M.
