H. C. Fickenscher, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Holliday died Saturday at her farm home at Cove, after an illness of two years. She was the daughter of August and the late Frederica (Richter) Georg of Cove, Md. Her husband, who had been an invalid for more than twenty years preceded her in death five months ago. Surviving besides her father are six sisters, Mrs. Laura Strand, Dunbar, Pa.; Mrs. Matilda O. Hern, Uniontown, Pa.; Mrs. Cora Colb, Mrs. Eliza Hetz, and Mrs. Gertrude Glass, all of Accident; and Miss Freda Georg, Canton, Ohio; seven brothers, Charles, Accident; Albert, Butler, Pa.; Arthur, Pitcairn, Pa.; Edward and Clarence, Turtle Creek, Pa.; and Karl and Judson, Wadsworth, Ohio. Ten children, Virgie Oester and Martha Holliday, Detroit, Mi.; June, at home; Raymond, New York; John, Somerfield, Pa.; Fred, Selbysport, Md.; Eugene at home; Stanley, Seattle, Wash.; Richard, Camp Perry, Ohio; and Wendall, Aberdeen; and four grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were Charles Harmon, Melchain Kolb, Ray Harmon, Bert Griffith, and Oscar Harmon. Interment was in the German Lutheran cemetery at Cove. Meyersdale Republican, October 29, 1942
