Holliday, 64, of Salisbury RD 1, died Jan. 16, 1979, at home. He was born Dec. 28, 1914, in Accident, Md., son of the late Judson and Mary (George) Holliday. He is survived by wife, the former Mary Lichty; and two sons, Lynn of Somerset and Tommy L. of Meyersdale RD 1; also four brothers: Raymond of Port Ritchie, Fla.; Richard of Dunedin, Fla.; John of Addison and Fred of Grantsville, Md.; also three sisters: Mrs. Virgie (Oscar) Oester of Clearwater, Fla.; Mrs. June (Tom) Jeffreys and Miss Martha Holliday, both of Addison. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Robert Wendell and Wendy Holliday. He was a mechanic for the Springs Equipment Co. for 18 years, veteran of World War II and a member of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren. Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where services were held with the Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
