  MILDRED V. HOLSHEY
  
    Mildred V. Holshey, 78, formerly of Bedford Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 2,
  1988, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Born March 12, 1910, in Meyersdale, she was the daughter of the late
  Oscar Allen and Emily (Donges) Holshey.
    She was preceded in death by two husbands, Elmer George Beck and Nicholas
  Holshey.
    She was a member of the Lutheran Church and former owner of the Virginia
  Tavern.
    Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marianne Allen Beck Bierman, LaVale,
  Md.; and two nieces.
    Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Virginia Avenue,
  where services were conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. John F.
  Samuels.  Interment, Hillcrest Burial Park.
