Born July 25, 1943, in Petoria, Pa., son of Donald B. and L. Beryl (Shaffer) Holsopple. Survived by parents, Hollsopple; widow, the former Kathleen Kohler; and son, Scott, both of Windber. Brother of; Glenn D., married to the former Ruth Ladel, Golf [sic] Port, Miss.; Donna of Hollsopple; and D. Bruce, married to the former Jaye Hunter of Stoystown; also survived by nephews, Mark, Todd and Joel; and father-in-law, Joseph Kohler, Jennerstown. Member of the First Lutheran Church, Windber; Johnstown Lodge 538, F&AM; Jaffa Shrine; York Rite; Connellsville Local 66, Operating Engineers; and Windber I.O.O.M. Honorary member of Joppa Shrine. He was the former president of the Manion Oil Company and the Manion Coal Company. Family will receive friends 2-9 p.m. Friday, and from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Meek Funeral Home, Inc., Windber, with the Rev. Dennis Doebler officiating.
