  Donald B. Holsopple, 78, Hollsopple, died Jan. 22, 1994, at Lee
  Hospital.  Born April 9, 1915, in Paint Township, Somerset County,
  son of Bruce and Martha (Brubaker) Holsopple.  Preceded in death by
  parents; son, Dennis, and brother, Charles.  Survived by wife, Leah
  Beryl Shaffer, and these children: Glenn "Butch", married to former
  Ruth Ladell, Gulfport, Miss.; Donna Rae, at home, and Bruce, married
  to former Jaye Hunter, Stoystown R.D. 3; daughter-in-law, Kathleen,
  Windber; grandchildren, Mark, Scott, Todd, Joel, and Erin.  Brother
  of Maurice, Abbottstown; Elaine Maggs, Hooversville R.D. 1; Emma
  Dietrich, Windber; Richard, Hooversville R.D. 1, and Verna Thomas,
  Hollsopple RD 2.  Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. 
  Member of Bethel United Methodist Church.  Self-employed at Manion
  Coal & Oil Co.  Charter member of Connumach Lions Club.  Charter
  member of Conemaugh Township Rotary Club.  President and member of
  TPA, Post V, Johnstown.  Past state president and national director
  of TPA.  Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday
  at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville.  Funeral service
  at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel United Methodist Church, where friends
  will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service, the Rev. Tom
  Michalko.  Interment, Custer Cemetery.  Masonic service by Lodge 538
  will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
