(Christner) Holsopple, 80, of Nicole Lane, Sunny Acres, Somerset died Sept. 17, 1999, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Sept. 8, 1919 in Somerset, a daughter of Sylvester and Ruth (Houston) Christner. Preceded in death by parents, infant sister Elizabeth, sister Janet Sloan and brothers Paul, Samuel, Donald and Jack. Survived by husband Donald D., a retired Somerset barber, daughters, Carol wife of William Osselburn and Kristin and fiance' Todde Hostetler, both of Somerset. Grandchildren: William Osselburn and wife Julie; Jeffrey Osselburn and wife Margaret; Timothy Osselburn and wife Connie; Eric Osselburn and friend Barb; Kristin Osselburn and husband Scott Lohr; Danny Stoner and wife Lori; Korey Stoner and friend Zara Kyle; Shari Hostetler and husband Brett Weimer, and Krystal Hostetler. Also 14 great-grandchildren, a brother John Fredric Christner married to Martha Weyand, Somerset. Sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Julia Christner-Farkosh, Somerset, Isabelle Holsopple, Shanksville, and Dorothy and Ted Holsopple of Somerset, and special nephew Phillip Christner of Confluence. Member of First Christian Church, Somerset. Volunteered for Meals on Wheels for six years. Lifelong resident of Somerset. Observed 61st wedding anniversary June 30, 1999. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, with her cousin Rev. Jay L.
