  HOLSOPPLE, Erma E.   12/03/07    Daily American
  
     Erma E. Holsopple, 94, Laurel View Village, died Dec. 2, 2007, at home.   Born Feb. 3,
  1913, in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, a daughter of Harry and Lottie (Thomas) 
  Blough. Preceded in death by parents; infant twin sisters; brother, Orvin Blough;
  husband, Lemon G. Holsopple, who died Dec. 12, 1985; and great-grandson, Stephen. She was
  the granddaughter of Levi and Katie Ann Thomas. Survived by these children, Doris, married
  to Floyd Shaffer, Hooversville; Helen, married to Howard Hildebrand   and Leon, and wife,
  Betty, both of Holsopple. She also raised several foster children. Also survived by nine
  grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grand-children. Sister of Edna
  Nofziger, Wauseon, Ohio; Dorothy Eash, Johnstown; Harry B. and wife, Betty Blough,
  Hershey; and Kathryn Fern, and husband, Herman Schrock, Harrisonburg, Va. She was a 
  lifetime member of Blough   Mennonite Church, where she belonged to the Blough Ladies 
  Sewing Circle. She also quilted many years at the Hollsopple Senior Center. She was
  formerly employed for 13 years at Raymond's   Hospital, Johnstown. A special thank You to
  granddaughter, Debbie and all the nurses and staff at Laurel View Village for all their
  care and support. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday   at the
  George E. Mason Funeral Home,   Davidsville, and from 10 a.m. until time of service, 11
  a.m. Wednesday, at the Blough Mennonite Church. Pastor Eric   Laser and Pastor Wes Yoder
  officiating.   Those who wish, please make donations to the Laurel View Village "We
  Care"   Fund in memory of Erma.
