   Harriet Mae Holsopple, 61, Friedens, died June 3, 2008, at Somerset Hospital. She is the
  wife of Paul E. Holsopple. Memorial service will be conducted 6 p.m. Thursday at New Life
  Mennonite Church, Listie. Complete obituary in Thursday's paper.

   Harriet Mae Holsopple, 61, formerly of Windber, now of Friedens, died June 3, 2008, at
  Somerset Hospital. Born April 12, 1947. Married to Paul E. Holsopple for 35 years.
  Preceded in death by parents, James and Betty Gordon; sister, Nancy Ebersole; and
  brother, Jim Gordon. Survived by Michelle Morano and husband, Peter, New Jersey; Robert
  Holsopple and friend, Theresa, Friedens; Anna Holsopple and friend Dave, Maryland; Corie
  Holsopple, Somerset. She has eight grandchildren, Brandy, David, Victoria, Robert, Becky,
  Bobby, Abby and Jason. Harriet worked as a home health nurse aid privately and at Siemon's
  Lakeview Manor. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends going to bingo, yard
  sales, crafts, sewing and eating ice cream. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any
  money donations to them be made out to New Life Mennonite Church so that in the new
  future a trust fund will be set up toward a scholarship fund intended for nursing
  students. Friends will be received from 12 to 4 p.m. and from 6 until time of service 8
  p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Private interment.
