    HOLSOPPLE
      
    Robert Holsopple, 73, No. 8, Holly Path, Windber, died Feb. 7, 1988 at
  Church of the Brethren Home.  Born July 30, 1914 in Paint Township, son of
  the late Leslie and Elvie L. (Johns) Holsopple.  Preceded in death by
  brothers, Roy E., Chester M., Cyril and Meredith, and sisters, Alma and
  Erma.  Survived by widow, the former Dorothy Bowser and these children: 
  Roy, Alexandria, Va.; Richard, Windber; Gloria, wife of Roy Shaffer,
  Windber; and Jay, Pensacola, Fla.  Also survived by four grandchildren, and
  a sister, Edna, wife of Stanley W. Shroyer, Hyndman.  Member of the Ridge
  Church of the Brethren, Windber Legion and the Hooversville VFW.  Family
  will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Meek
  Funeral Home, Windber, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. 
  The Rev. Brian Simmons officiating.  Interment, Berkey Cemetery.  In lieu
  of flowers, family suggests donations to the charity of your choice in
  memory of Robert Holsopple.
