    HOLT
      
      Bernice Mae Holt, 74, of Garrett died June 17, 1998, in Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  She was born July 12, 1923, in
  Brothersvalley Township, a daughter of the late Harrison and Edna May
  (Saylor) Hoffman.  Also preceded in death by 3 brothers.  Survived by
  her husband Nathan and these children:  Nathan E. of Arlington,
  Texas; Frances Hay and Linda Romesberg, both of Rockwood; Kathy
  Schrock of New Cumberland; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. 
  also these brothers and sister:  George, Harold, Robert Hoffman, all
  of Berlin; Wayne Hoffman of Lakeland, Fla., and Phyllis Leister of
  Glencoe.  Member of the Brotherton Church of the Brethren.  She
  attended the United Methodist Church in Garrett.  Friends will be
  received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Friday at the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where funeral
  Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Pastor Craig Lyman
  officiating.  Interment, Pike Cemetery, Brotherton.
