    HOLT
  
    James Edward Holt, 23, of Lexington Park, Md., died April 1, 1996, at
  Prince Georges General Hospital, Cheverly, Md.  Born March 27, 1973, in
  Somerset, son of Glenn Edward and Lorraine Joyce (Kennington) Holt of
  Butler.  Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, R. H. Jr. and Gertrude
  (Barron) Kennington; paternal grandparents:  James M. Holt and Elsie
  (Whipkey) Holt-Duppstadt; paternal step-grandfather, Jay A. Duppstadt. 
  Survived by brother, Glenn E. Holt, Jr., a third class petty officer with
  U.S. Navy, Norfolk, Va.  Beloved companion, Della Nickless, and her
  children, Elaina Reilly and Patrick Reilly, Lexington Park, Md.  Resident
  of St. Mary's County since 1985.  A graduate of Leonardtown High School and
  St. Mary's Technical Center.  Employee of Southern Tire of Lexington Park. 
  Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday
  with Rev. Robert G. Doyle officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
