Holt, 78, of New Wilmington, formerly of Somerset, died Aug. 13, 1996, in Sharon Regional Hospital. Born Nov. 11, 1917, in Marion Center, son of the late Carl William and Lottie (Bell) Bahme. Preceded in death by his wife, Alda Mae Glessner, and brother, Donald. Survived by a daughter, Marlene, wife of Harold Shockey of Hermitage, and a son, Ronald of Pulaski; five sisters: Mrs. Genevieve Milliken of Somerset; Mrs. Clarice Bittner of Crafton; Harriet, wife of Edgar Barkman of Shanksville; Miriam, wife of Ray Zeigler of Somerset; Alice, wife of James Schrock of Rockwood; brothers: John W. Holt, Robert C. Holt and Guy E. Holt, all of Somerset; also four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Member of Presbyterian Church of West Middlesex. Retired truck mechanic for Branch Trucking Company, Richfield, Ohio. Service manager 26 years for Morrison Buick of New Castle. Formerly worked at Walker Buick Garage, Somerset. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Charles F. Olson officiating.
