  Clifford E. "Pete" Holtzman, 76, Shaffer's Countryside Personal Care
  Boarding Home, Friedens, formerly of Connor Towers, Johnstown, died Dec. 1,
  2003, at Somerset Hospital.  Born March 10, 1927, in Johnstown, son of Frank
  and Clara Margaret (Kinzey) Holtzman.  Preceded in death by parents; wife,
  the former Better Fondelier and brother, James.  Survived by daughters:
  Deborah, married to Charlie Miller, Somerset, and Bonnie, married to
  Webster Miller, Friedens; grandchildren: Jared Miller, Friedens, Christina,
  married to Michael Roll, Woodbridge, Va., Heather Miller, Somerset, Leanna,
  married to Joshua Heiple, Friedens and John Miller, Mount Pleasant;
  great-grandchildren, Dyllan and Charlie Miller; sister, Maureen, married to
  Leo Mitchell, Burlington, N.J. and sister-in-law Betty Holtzman,
  Johnstown.  Pete was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and friend. 
  He was a proud member of the U.S. Air Force and Navy and the Army and Air
  National Guards.  Retired employee of A. McAllister Bottling Co. and
  bartended at the former Ray's Lounge, Hornerstown.  Friends received from 5
  to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from noon to time of service at 1 p.m. Thursday at
  John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Johnstown, the Rev.
  Robert Way officiating.  Interment Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.  Military
  rite by Menoher VFW Post 155.
