Hone, 62, Paris-Colliers Rd., Paris, Pa., died Jan. 29, 1997 at his residence. Born May 3, 1934, at Meyersdale. He was the son of the late Harry and Freda (Platter) Hone. Also preceded in death by sister, Beverly Bodkin and Patricia Hone. Survived by wife, Ruth Colflesh Hone, and these children: Richard Hone, Paris, Pa.; Mrs. Richard (Wendy) Welch, Weirton, W.Va.; Kelle Stemple, Paris, Pa.; brother, Vaughn Hone, Wellsburg, W.Va.; sister Sandra Carson, sister, Tucson, Az.; grandson, Eric Hone, Paris, Pa.; and granddaughter, Casey Stemple, Paris, Pa. Retired as terminal manager for Olen Burrage Trucking Co. after 14 years of service. Army veteran of Korean War. Life member of VFW Post 47, Uniontown. Also member of Richard Vaux AF&M Lodge 454 Burgettstown; Washington Royal Arch Chapter 150, Washington; Jacqus DeMolay Commandery 3, Washington, Pa.; Washington Council 1, Washington; Joshua Association of Pennsylvania; Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh; Washington Green Scottish Rite Club Valley of Pittsburgh.
