Carolyn Honsaker, 87, Patriot Manor, Somerset, formerly of Martinsburg and Roaring Spring, died April 4, 2002, at Patriot Manor. Born Dec. 5, 1914, the daughter of the late John and Samantha Guyer. Married Irvin K. Honsaker Sept. 7, 1938, in Hagerstown, Md. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1990. Member of the Martinsburg Mennonite Church. Registered nurse at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring and a private duty nurse. Retired from Morrisons Cove Home in 1978. Her interests included reading her Bible, gardening, golf and bowling. She was active in ladies activities at the Martinsburg Mennonite Church. Survivors include two daughters, Marlene Kay Keith of York and Linda Fae Greenleaf of Somerset; son, Ronald of Roaring Spring; sister, Lois Anderson of Brookline, Mass.; brother Glen Guyer of Martinsburg; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, at the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury, and from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, at the Martinsburg Mennonite Church where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment at the Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury.
