WILLIAM H. HOON

  William H. Hoon, 79, of Berlin, died Monday afternoon in Community Hospital, 
Somerset, after an illness of two weeks of pneumonia.  Mr. Hoon had resided with 
friends in Meyersdale for several weeks prior to being removed to the hospital.  
His wife is dead.  He was a son of Valentine and Elizabeth (Suder) Hoon.  There 
are no close surviving relatives.
  Funeral services were conducted at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at the Johnson 
Funeral Chapel, Berlin, by Rev. John N. Bethune, pastor of the Trinity Reformed 
Church.  Interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
