  Arnold E. Hoover, 71, passed away March 7, 2005, at Meyersdale Medical Center,
  Meyersdale. Born Jan. 16, 1934, in Farmington, he is the son of the late
  Telford and Jessie (Uphold) Hoover. He is survived by his wife, Donna (Berkley)
  Hoover; four sons, Jerry Hoover and wife Melanie, Fort Hill; Kenneth Hoover and
  wife Debbie, Meyersdale; Steve Hoover and his wife Tammy, Meyersdale; and Jamie
  Hoover, Falls Church, Va.; two daughters, Kim Miller and her husband, Robert,
  Meyersdale; and Tammy Garlitz and her husband, Brad, Salisbury; two brothers,
  Stanley Hoover, Berlin, and Glenn Hoover, Meyersdale. Mr. Hoover worked for
  Miller Machine Works as a truck driver. Services will be private. Expressions
  of sympathy may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are in
  charge of Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury.
