  HOOVER
  
    Calvin C. Hoover Sr., 91, of Rockwood died May 11, 1996, at his
  residence.  Born July 26, 1904, in Brothersvalley Township.  Son of the
  late Abraham and Rebecca Hoover.  Preceded in death by 11 brothers and
  sisters.  Survived by his wife of 59 years, the former Helen Sanner, and
  the following children: Sonny, married to the former Sherry Wise,
  Meyersdale; Tom, married to the former Nola Gary, Rockwood RD 2; Harry,
  married to the former Mary Ellen Minerd, Rockwood RD 3; Calvin, married to
  the former Cindy Hauger, Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. William (Beatrice) Hay,
  Springfield, Mo., and Mrs. Ronald (Sally) Pritts of Rockwood.  Also 15
  grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Retired coal worker.  Friends
  were received Sunday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where
  funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today (Monday), Rev. Jay
  Christner officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.  Contributions
  may be given to the In-Touch Hospice, 651 South Center Ave., Somerset, Pa.
