Born Jan. 15, 1947, in Somerset, daughter of Homer D. Brant and the late Ruth (Schrader) Brant. She has been the high school librarian for the Central Fulton School District in McConnellsburg since 1968. She attended St. Paul Lutheran Church, McConnellsburg, and was a member of the Fulton Chapter 519 OES of which she was Past Matron in 1976. Member of PSEA, Pa. Librarians Assoc. Graduate of Clarion State College, with a master's degree from Shippensburg State College. In addition to her father, survived by husband, Stephen M. Hoover of McConnellsburg; a sister, Cathy E., wife of Fred Robertson of Johnstown; 2 nieces and a nephew. Services will be Thurs. at 1 p.m. in the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg, with the Revs. Henry Johnson and David Hoover officiating. Interment services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thurs. in the Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Thurs. in the Riverside Grace Brethren Church with Rev. H. Don Rough at Pender Lane, Davidsville. The family will receive friends Wed. 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. For the convenience of friends, the door will be open 2-9 p.m. on Wed.
