  EARL W. HOOVER
  
  Earl W. Hoover, 93, Garrett RD 1, died Aug. 30, 1985, in VA Hospital,
  Altoona.  Born Sept. 25, 1891, in Garrett, son of late James and Susan
  (Hemminger) Hoover.  Preceded in death by son, Robert, five sisters and two
  brothers.  Survived by wife, former Eva F. Kimble; and these children: Mrs.
  Ruth E. Klink, Garrett RD 1; William C., Garrett; and Chester, Meyersdale
  RD 4.  Veteran of World War I, U.S. Army.  Member of John Tressler VFW Post
  3504.  Friends were received at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  service was conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. William Phennicie.  Interment,
  Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
